WORKSHOP
Please fill out the Workshop Registration form: Click here
The goal of this workshop is to provide basic information for in silico analysis of novel and existing PCR assays. We will work on molecular target selection, target sequence acquisition from public databases, sequence alignment, primer and probe selection, and secondary structure analysis. Participants will gain experience in monitoring a diagnostic assay and assuring the test will maintain its effectiveness in detecting field strains. Strategies on how to modify a test using the same or different target regions will also be covered.
