This year the program will continue to build on the fundamentals of a quality management system required for laboratory accreditation. The content of this program will include:
- Management Reviews
- Ongoing Competency Across the Disciplines
- Traceability
- Data Analysis: Trend Tracking
In addition, the Accreditation Committee and the Quality Committee will provide additional information about the accreditation process, such as:
- FAQ Document
- Recent Changes in Requirements
- Hot Topics and Q&A
This symposium is recommended for all Laboratory Directors, Supervisors, Quality Managers and laboratory persons interested in the efficient implementation of a Quality Management System.
There will be no registration fee. Course materials, a continental breakfast and a box lunch will be provided by the National Animal Health Laboratory Network and the AAVLD Accreditation Committee.
Pre-registration is required. Registration deadline is September 19, 2014.
Spaces will fill quickly so be sure to register early.

Purpose: To provide an educational opportunity for AAVLD diagnostic laboratories to enhance their skills in the implementation and management of a Quality Management System for the goal of laboratory accreditation, including both the Laboratory Management Requirements and Technical Requirements.
