Transforming Veterinary Diagnostics

The symposium at the AAVLD/USAHA meeting is a remarkable opportunity to learn how next generation sequencing (NGS) is revolutionizing diagnostic microbiology and virology. NGS coupled with powerful bioinformatics analyses allows for investigations into outbreaks caused by pathogens with geographical traceability and for detections of emerging, foreign and/or novel pathogens. Symposium speakers will provide current information and development with examples in the application of NGS technology in veterinary microbiology and virology.
