Thank you for your interest in this organization. There are three types of membership in this organization Fellow, Retired Fellow and Student Fellow. Membership Requirements: Fellow: candidates must be a college graduate (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) with a minimum of five years experience in the field of toxicology, or the equivalent, and have made a distinct contribution to the advancement of veterinary and/or comparative toxicology. Equivalence in experience may be met by holding the DVM (or equivalent) degree and MS/PhD degree (in toxicology or an allied discipline) or recognition as a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Toxicology or by holding the DVM or MS/PhD degree and having a minimum of five years experience in toxicology. Retired Fellow: A member, who has reached 65 years of age, has retired, and ceased all regular employment and consulting. Student Fellow: anyone with interest in toxicology who is currently enrolled in a college or university as a professional or graduate student. The fee for student fellow status will be established by the Executive Council and will be less than that paid by Fellows.
