Registration Now Open for the 2018 Annual Meeting.
Pre- Registration ends October 1, 2018.
Important: When registration online for the meeting, DO NOT use the AAVLD user name and password. If you have attended the meeting before you will need to do a search with your email. If you have changed your email since the last meeting you will need to contact USAHA, [email protected]. If you have NEVER attended the meeting you will need to create a new account with USAHA. AAVLD and USAHA systems are not connected.
USAHA and AAVLD are pleased to make registration available to all interested participants for the 122nd USAHA and 61st AAVLD Annual Meeting. We're pleased to return to Kansas City in 2018 with our host hotels Sheraton Crown Center and Westin Crown Center in the heart of KC. The meeting runs October 18-24, as we anticipate a beautiful fall in the Midwest.

** Please note that all registrations must be submitted online. A new registration system is in place this year, so please note the process to get your account established. Registration options are constructed to cater to your membership status, so hopefully making the process simple and efficient for you. Please take a moment to read the primer on the registration meeting page.**
A few important notes before you begin:
1. Online registration is required. No fax or mailed forms will be accepted. You may pay by credit card, or an option is provided to register and mail a check.
2. The registration system is not compatible with Internet Explorer - you will need to use Microsoft Edge, Chrome or Firefox.
3. Accounts are tied to your email address. To begin, you will select “Account Lookup – New User”. You may search by your email or full name and state. Once the account has been matched, you will enable it, a default password will be emailed to you. You can then select the sign-in option, and proceed with registration.
4. If you have difficulty finding your account, or your email address has changed in the last year, please contact USAHA with your new information (do not create a new account), we will be happy to assist with matching your account. If you are new to USAHA/AAVLD, you may use the "Register" option to create your account.
Once you’re logged in:
5. You will see a list of forms – please select the appropriate form (Registration or Student Registration).
6. The system is centered on your membership status, which will be displayed within your account. This is based on the latest USAHA and AAVLD dues information. Selections will be limited based upon your classification. If you encounter an error that you believe is incorrect, please notify us.
7. You will again have options to renew dues or join either or both organizations with your registration.
You must register and wear a badge to attend any/all meetings.

If you are a student, AAVLD and USAHA have agreed to waive registration fees for veterinary students attending the meeting. However, you must register to receive a name badge to attend any/all meetings.
AAVLD Symposiums – Special symposiums have an additional registration whether there is an additional fee or it is free. These meetings change from year-to-year. A different name badge is required for these sessions. Advance registration is required.
REFUND POLICY Registrants of the USAHA/AAVLD Annual Meeting may cancel their registration by notifying the USAHA Office. Cancellations prior to the start of the meeting (October 18, 2018) will receive a refund of their fees less $25. Cancellations may be made until October 31, 2018 with a refund of fees less $75. No cancellations are accepted after October 31, 2018. USAHA nor AAVLD hold no responsibility for cancellation fees associated with lodging, travel or other expenses to the individual registrant.
CE Credits
Veterinary Continuing Education Credits at the USAHA/AAVLD Annual Meeting –
The USAHA/AAVLD meeting is commonly accepted by most State Veterinary Licensing Board for continuing education credits. Specific presentations and sessions do not have direct pre-approval. An individual could attain more than 30 hours of CE credits, depending on sessions attended. Please check with your State Licensing authority to determine their specific requirements and acceptance of AAVLD/USAHA presentations. A form is provided for your records.
